My Vitamin Regimen

A little over a year ago I didn’t take any vitamins and today I take around 10 a day. I was getting sick frequently and feeling sluggish so I visited a naturopath seeking advice. She crafted the regimen that I am currently on. While this plan is specific to me I hope that you can benefit from the information I provide in this post. If you’re as serious as I was about feeling better then I recommend getting bloodwork done and having a doctor give you their recommendations on what to take. Please keep in mind I am not a doctor and this advice I just based on what I know works for me.

My Daily Regimen

  • Omega- 3, 500 mg
  • Womens Formula Probiotic
  • Calcium, 500 mg
  • Garlic, 500 mg
  • Vitamin D, 1000 IU’s
  • Green Tea EGCG, 200 mg
  • Multivitamin
  • B Complex (blend of B- complex vitamins)
  • Zinc, 450 mg
  • Vitamin C, 500 mg

Notes On Each Vitamin

-Omega: This vitamin played a huge role on helping me lower my cholesterol. Fish oils have a plethora of health benefits.

-Womens Formula Probiotic: Sorry for the TMI but I used to be plagued by yeast infections. My Womens Formula Probiotic put a stop to that. Ever since I started taking a probiotic I’ve been blessed with a balanced PH and gut. Hallelujah!

-Calcium: Osteoporosis runs in my family. In order to take preventive measures I make sure to take a calcium pill. I hope this will help me keep my bones strong!

-Garlic: This supplement is known to boost your immune system and no I don’t walk around reeking of garlic!

-Vitamin D: My bloodwork came back very deficient in Vitamin D last year but thanks to these supplements I’m back in the normal range!

-Green Tea EGCG: Another cholesterol lowering vitamin! In addition Green Tea is good for your brain and blood flow.

-Multivitamin: At absolute minimum everyone should be taking a multivitamin. Even if you eat an insane amount of fruits and veggies you can’t consume the amount of nutrients a multivitamin provides.

-B Complex: Most people are at least a little deficient in B-12, which is why we feel tired and sluggish. B vitamins help give us back the energy we need!

-Zinc: Zinc boots your immune system, helps maintain healthy skin, and tends to shorten the symptoms and duration when you do get sick.

-Vitamin C: A powerful anti-oxidant that protects body tissues and systems. Vitamin C is often depleted by stress and is typically lacked in the all American diet.

I’m thankful for this regimen. I’m feeling more energized, have better cholesterol, and rarely get sick. If you have any questions on what brands I use or would like more detail on any of the regimen feel free to reach out!
