The NutriBullet Changed My Life

nutribullet

My mom is basically the cutest human ever. A couple months ago I mentioned that I wanted a NutriBullet but I didn’t want to drop $80 bucks on it at the moment. Fast forward a week, I opened my front door to the sight of a NutriBullet, a cooler filled with ingredients ready to juice, and a note from mother dearest. Luckiest daughter ever!

I’ve owned this little guy for two months now and I honestly don’t know how I lived without it for so long. I can make juices, breakfast smoothies, healthy ice creams, and even soups in my NutriBullet. It’s easy, quick, and simple to clean.

My usual go to recipes consist of whatever odds and ends are in my kitchen: fruit, greens, veggies, flaxseed, oats, peanut butter….add a little almond or coconut milk and you have yourself a nutritious drink!  But there’s a handy book that came with the product and it has a wealth of recipes. I haven’t tried most of them but I’m going to share a couple that I have along with a couple that I’m looking forward to trying.

Shari’s Apple Pie Blast

  • 1 apple
  • 1 handful blueberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 5 walnuts
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • ice
  • 1 pinch nutmeg to garnish

Anti Inflammatory Blast

  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 cup cucumber
  • 1/2 cup pineapple
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut water

Chocolate Energy Balls (YES you can make treats in your NutriBullet too! Woohoo!)

  • 1/2 cup almond flower
  • 3/4 cup medjool dates, pits removed
  • pinch of Himalayan sea salt
  • 1/4 cup packed mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1-2 tbsp. coconut or almond milk

* Roll the mixture into balls and refrigerate for 3-4 hours before enjoying!

Best Day Ever Blast

  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp. raw cacao powder
  • 1 small handful of goji berries
  • 2 dollops of raw honey
  • small chunk of aloe vera
  • coconut water

If you’re on the fence about getting a NutriBullet I would highly recommend it. Although, I was fortunate to receive it as a gift I still think that it would be worth every penny if I would have purchased it. Think of it as an investment for your health!
